Shantanpara is a small village located in Idukki district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is an eight hour drive from trivandrum and and the distance is about 265 km and can vary from  where you plan to start your journey.

             Shantanpara is a very beautiful place to spent vacation with friends and family which helps you relax and free your mind from any pressure. The main advantage of this place is that its realLy silent and you get your own privacy, there will also not be any contact with outside world because of less network coverage. There is also a bangalow located in the middle of the forest which provide a good place to stay and relax, talking about the food they provide i
s extremely delicious and mouth watering.

                                The bangalow provide a safe and secured stay for family and also provide campfire and trucking.
        Talking about the tracking there are well experienced drivers who makes it really fun to enjoy. The location that they take you is mind blowing which is located at high above the mountain from where you can see the areas of Tamil Nadu, its super windy at top and a great place for talking selfies.

                                            Talking about more about Shantanpara there is actually a dam that is located a bit away on the way to Munnar which is breath taking and really beautiful. Locals say that you can see elephants taking bath and drinking water even with their babies which is an awesome sight.
